CT BRAIN
Clinical History A 52 year old man presented after having had a fall and hitting the back of his head three (3) weeks prior. A CT at the time of injury did not reveal any abnormality. However, the patient suffered an ongoing headache, which did not respond to any oral analgesics. His GP decided that a repeat CT was indicated.
Technique A non contrast CT with Multiplanar reformats was performed.

Diagnosis 1. Subacute right frontal subdural haematoma 2. Chronic left frontal subdural haematoma 3. There is no obvious fracture involving the skull
