Direct Billing
We are direct billing medical imaging service. If your Health Fund is BUPA, Medibank or Worldcare we will directly charge them for the cost of your service. On the day of the examination you are encouraged to pay the out-of-pocket/gap fee. This fee is kept to a minimum and is not claimable through your insurance provider.
 

Things to bring when visiting MSI:
- Valid OSHC membership card
- Referral from your physician
- Photo ID (if you cannont present your OSHC membership card and a photo ID you will not be elgiable for direct billing.)
Please Inform us…
- If you are pregnant or suspect you may be
- Allergic to any prescribed medications
- Suffer from hay fever, are asthmatic or have kidney disease
- Are a diabetic
- If you have ever experienced a severe reaction to a previous injection of contrast
What is not covered?
Please check with your insurance provider – this is just a guideline.
- There is a 12-month waiting period for pre-existing conditions, that is, during your first 12 months after your arrival in Australia you will not be covered for a medical condition that was in existence before you arrived.
- If your OSHC or student visa is shorter than 3 months you will not be covered for pregnancy related services.
- Services where compensation or damages can be claimed either in Australia of overseas.
- You are not covered for the gap/out-of-pocket payments.
Please note: If your claim has no benefits payable or is rejected by your insurance provider, you the patient, will be responsible for the payment of our invoice.
